To Qualify for Benefits
You must meet the USDA-TEFAP ELIGIBILITY requirements. A PDF of the Authorized Representative Form can be downloaded at the link below.
We serve all who live, work or play in Monroe, Alpine, and Bellfountain.
We no longer need proof of address. We do ask for your zip code. We do ask for family size. There are income guidelines as well, which are posted above and at the pantry. You may be asked for additional information for non-food pantry programs or referral purposes, but the additional information may not be used to determine eligibility for the food program.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
ELIGIBILITY
BY SIGNING THE USDA SIGN-IN SHEET OR INTAKE FORM
YOU DECLARE THAT:
1. You are eligible to receive USDA commodities because:
• Your household income is at or below the eligible income levels (see chart)
OR
• You are currently participating in the Food Stamp Program (SNAP),
TANF, SSI, OR LIHEAP
AND
2. Your zip code and the number of people in your household as declared on the sign-in sheet are true and accurate.
USDA-TEFAP commodities in emergency food parcels are made available to persons in emergency need based on current supplies. Recipients must provide the following information:
• Name
• Zip code
• Number of people in your household
Eligibility is based on where you live and the posted income/eligibility guidelines ONLY.
You may be asked for additional information for non-food programs or referral purposes, but the additional information may not be used to determine eligibility for the food program.
